It seems more and more are still fainting back to the world! Why is that? We know there are many reasons, but I believe that the biggest reason is that they were never doing their new 'walk' for God.

They may have turned to God's more excellent ways but still not to the living God. Time always proves who is real and who is not!

Since we officially 'left the campgrounds' a few years ago - we see that we truly have found the living God - the Risen Saviour. What has that meant to those who have also found him while attending our little church these past years? Here are a few comments regarding the Living God that Paul guides us to!

For those interested for yourself or for those who have been with us since we 'left camp' looking for the real living God, you may find very interesting these 'archived' notes from two sermons I preached back in 2003 - announcing that we were going to leave the 'camp' in search for the living God! We look at the dangers of looking to man for wisdom today.

It appears that more and more Christians are willing to look more to man's wisdom during these increasingly disturbing days instead of trusting the wisdom from within their King James Bible. They want to 'show' folks something (New World Order - Politics, etc.) so that they believe.

Have we forgotten that people must believe BEFORE they can see? Man's wisdom will not help folks see - only God's wisdom will guide us through these future days.

Seriousness of Sober Living

Paul speaks to us with words of truth and soberness. Where is the soberness of today's Christian? It seems everything has to be 'fun' - especially in the church these days.

Let's look at soberness and see why Paul says it pleases the living God today.

I have heard it said that in today's world, trying to follow the teachings of the risen Saviour through Paul is not practical.

You mean dressing 'very' modestly?
You mean being quiet and sober?
You mean not following the world's way of entertainment?
You mean saying 'no' to things that you used to say 'yes' to?

That is all not practical?

Growing in judgment?
Believing One Bible?
Learning the truth about music and then living it?
Serving the living God and Risen Saviour today is impractical?
Designing the local church to please God instead of man?

According to the scriptures, what are a few real reasons people say Paul is impractical?

Vain Sacrifices

Unless you worked 'together with him' you may have received your grace in vain. What a sad thing to have sacrificed what you have only to have done it in vain - if you are making any sacrifice to serve the living God today. To have made those sacrifices without him is an even sadder thought.

Why are so many folks not really wanting help from the living God - only heard from through Paul? The Scriptures, as always, will answer any question we ask... and this is no exception. See the Scriptural reasons it is so hard for folks to seek the 'help' that the Risen Saviour offers.

What are we really up against when we try to tell people, lost or saved, about the Risen Saviour through Paul and a rightly divided KJB?

As we see that according to the newest Homeland Security document, we are to be considered dangerous as a potential "radical on the right." What kind of suffering could this possibly mean? Or will we be suffering reproach for another reason? How about for trusting in the living God and following Paul ONLY?

The question we ask and answer tonight is this: How can a professing King James Bible Believer / or the average 'Christian' still not follow Paul ONLY? What is it about the Great Commission Baptists, etc. that just want to stick to the Gospels and not follow Paul? Why can't they follow Paul ONLY without trying to apply the whole Bible or at least the Gospels and I II Peter, etc.

We still say the whole Bible is FOR us, but it is not all TO us! We preach Genesis to Revelation but try to live only what Paul preaches! What is so dangerous, threatening and hard about that? Well, here is what I see is so hard for folks!
